Unpermitted Buildings are Still Rampant in Cibubur

Lack of supervision also the awareness of building owner to take Building Permit (IMB) has made Cibubur Urban Village,  Ciracas Sub-District is currently rampant with unpermitted buildings.

The project was completed quickly. Eventually, at night the project was also done though the project has no permit

One of the areas is on Jalan Lapangan Tembak. In fact, one of the shop-house construction projects in that region, is very fast to be constructed even though without any project board.

Yadi (35), a local resident, said that there are many buildings without permit in RT 02/03, RT 02/05, and RT 07/07. Ironically, even though it proven that they are violating, but there is no action from the related officers. "The project was completed quickly. Eventually, at night the project was also done though the project has no permit," complained Yadi, Thursday (4/17).

Responding to that, Head of Cibubur urban Village, Budi Hartati, admitted that in the region he leads at this time is rampant of buildings without permit. It also has repeatedly complained by the residents who complained directly to his office.

"We have received several reports from residents who complained on unpermitted buildings. However, we cannot do anything about it because the executor authority is in East Jakarta P2B Sub-Dept. realm," he explained.

Budi admitted that his party has also sent a letter to East Jakarta P2B Sub- Dept. related to the rampant of unpermitted buildings in his territory.

Meanwhile, Head Section of East Jakarta P2B Sub-Dept., Ebi Prianta was reluctant to respond related to this matter. "Just ask straightly to the Head Section of urban village P2B," he said briefly.
